Sliding SMS is an SMS/MMS messaging app based on the default texting app from Kit Kat 4.4.4. It also adds some additional features and an interface inspired by Hangouts.

With Sliding SMS you can send and receive traditional text messages from the app's interface (although you can't have chats as in Hangouts or other IM apps).

In the settings in Sliding SMS you can change the interface color, choose to hide your contact's pictures, or even change the color of the text bubbles.

Sliding SMS is a simple but direct SMS/MMS app that's constantly evolving. A good app to manage, send, and receive texts.
