Sliding SMS is an SMS/MMS messaging app based on the default texting app from Kit Kat 4.4.4. It also adds some additional features and an interface inspired by Hangouts.

With Sliding SMS you can send and receive traditional text messages from the app's interface (although you can't have chats as in Hangouts or other IM apps).
